World Trip Vlog 080 - Driving Through Japan in the Footsteps of the Straw Hat Pirates. The Kumamoto region was struck by a devastating earthquake in 2016. To support the victims and the region, manga artist Eiichiro Oda donated 800 million yen to the area for reconstruction. In gratitude, the city has erected 10 statues of the 10 main characters from the One Piece manga, created by Eiichiro Oda, over the past few years. These 10 statues have a specific meaning for each location. We visited all of them, and in this video, we'll show you this exciting journey and explain all the background information. Since some of the statues aren't accessible by public transportation, we rented a car. We'll also show you our car in the video.
