what it takes to shoot cycling like this

A strong cycling image usually looks simple. Until you see what it actually took to make it look that way. In this video I’m taking you behind the scenes of a cycling photo shoot with Tim and David — not just to show the final images, but to show what really goes into a shot like this. Light, timing, location, movement, small adjustments, a lot of trial and error… and the difference between a decent image and one that actually stays with you. This isn’t a race vlog or a classic behind-the-scenes video. It’s more a look into the process of trying to make cycling look the way it feels: fast, elegant, cinematic, and a little bigger than everyday life. 🧠 What’s in this video: • behind the scenes of a cycling photo shoot • what it takes to create a strong cycling image • working with Tim and David on a free creative project • how much detail goes into photos that end up looking effortless • the final shots and the process behind them 📍 Location: Cape Town, South Africa 📸 Featuring: Tim Teale / ADLIPS →   / tim_adlips   David Haase →   / herrdavidhaase   🎥 BTS by: Lukas Kordter →   / lukas_kordter   🎙️ Podcast about the project: https://open.spotify.com/show/7dgU5fY... 📲 Follow along: Instagram →   / gerritknein   Strava →   / strava   ⏱️ Timestamps: 00:00 intro 02:17 morning part 04:48 scene switch 06:40 studio at home 08:54 thoughts after
