Since 2008 we share our enthusiasm and passion with you. What began more than 25 years ago in a garage belonging to the two museum founders is now Automuseum PROTOTYP. The German term “PKW” meaning “Personen. Kraft. Wagen.” (directly translated: “People. Power. Cars.”) refers to a passenger car. This term captures what we are all about. We give you insight into the lives of inspiring personalities from the automotive world; we delve into the power behind their creativity and their willingness to take risks, about the power of the engines, and we bring to you a hand-picked selection of cars from 80 years of automotive history – from the era of sport and racing.
