Civic Engagement
Students volunteer 100 hours in regional NGOs. They gain practical experience, learn key concepts, forms, and frameworks of civic engagement and civil society. They understand the role of engagement in democracy, social participation, and community building, and apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting. The course provides an opportunity to reflect on the significance of their own contributions to the common good, and students can systematically document and critically evaluate their engagement experiences.
