I primarily used light nymphs on brass heads (lead fly) and small wet flies on a jumper. Whitefish aren't particularly picky, and you don't need to spend a lot of time choosing the right bait. The most important thing is that our flies are light. We want our bait to sink as slowly as possible and be retrieved relatively steadily without aggressive movements.
