Weekend Tangles 8: Mountain & Mon-Ammi

Hello my fellow tanglers, This weekend we'll take another look at a border in the round. I'm really into borders at the moment because they are so much fun. We'll be learning Mountain by Ginny Lu, CZT. This tangle is based on the Kanji for Mountain, which in Japanese we pronounce Yama. Very cool! We'll be pairing this border with a floral-themed tangle, Mon-Ammi by Au Yin Chan, CZT. This is a play on the French word for friend, but spelled a bit differently. This tangle is based on Ammi Majus, also known as Queen Anne's Lace or Bishop's flower or many other names. For a bit of springtime fun, I'll be adding option color in pinks. This is a short and sweet and cute project. I hope you will enjoy it. With Gratitude, Nana Featured tangles: Mountain by Ginny Lu, CAT & Mon-Ammi by Au Yin Chan, CZT. Recommended supplies: a white 3.5" x 3.5" Zentangle® tile or piece of paper, a black micron or pen, a #2 pencil, and a tortillon. Optional: Colored pencils in your choice of colors.
