Cage The Elephant - Shake Me Down | Live @ JBTV

Alternative rock giants, Cage The Elephant, performed a great live version of their hit single "Shake Me Down" from their 2011 album called Thank You, Happy Birthday [Jive Records] at JBTV studios. The song's lyrics and raw emotion ended up being the inspiration for a music video which earned them a best rock video nomination at the MTV Video Music Awards. Cage The Elephant formed in 2006 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The quintet found mainstream success in 2009 following the release of their debut self-titled album the year prior. The single that was most responsible for this was "Ain't No Rest For the Wicked," a song that earned them an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Later that year they played at Chicago's Lollapalooza and at San Francisco's Outside Lands.
