First Aid for Drowning || পানিতে ডুবে যাওয়া রোগীর প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা || GNB নদ-নদী, খাল-বিলে পরিপূর্ণ আমাদের এই মাতৃভূমি। প্রতি বছর বিভিন্ন কারনে পানিতে ডুবে অসংখ্য মানুষের মৃত্যু হয়। তার মধ্যে অন্যতম হচ্ছে বন্যা এবং সাতার না জানা ইত্যাদি। আমরা প্রায়ই এমন খবর শুনে থাকি। সাধারণত পানিতে ডুবে মৃত্যু হয় শ্বাসক্রিয়া বন্ধ হয়ে। কারণ তখন শ্বাস নালীতে পানি ঢুকে যায়। আমরা জানি, প্রায় ছয় মিনিট শ্বাসক্রিয়া বন্ধ থাকলেই একজন মানুষের মৃত্যু ঘটতে পারে। হারঃ- বাংলাদেশে প্রতি বছর প্রায় ১৫ হাজার শিশু পানিতে ডুবে মারা যায়। আর প্রতিদিন গড়ে ৪০টি শিশু পানিতে ডুবে মারা যায়। প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসাঃ- নিজেকে বিপদের মধ্যে ফেলবেন না। কোনভাবে তাকে ধরতে চেষ্টা করুণ বা কিছু ফেলুন (দড়ি বা বাশ), নিজে যাবেন না' তারপর রোগীটিকে উদ্ধার করে মাটিতে শুইয়ে রাখতে হবে। নাক-মুখ পরিষ্কার করতে হবে। শ্বাস প্রশ্বাস এবং নাড়ি স্পন্দন পরীক্ষা করতে হবে। শ্বাসক্রিয়া চালু না থাকলে রোগীর মুখে মুখ লাগিয়ে কৃত্রিম ভাবে শ্বাস ক্রিয়া চালুর জন্য চেষ্টা করতে হবে। প্রতি পাঁচ-ছয় সেকেন্ড পরপর কৃত্রিম শ্বাস দিতে হবে। তারপরও শ্বাসক্রিয়া চালু না হলে সিপিআর শুরু করুণ, পরপর ৩০ বার ছন্দোবদ্ধ নিয়মে বুকে চাপ দিতে হবে এবং দুই বার মুখে মুখ লাগিয়ে শ্বাস দিতে হবে। রোগীর শ্বাস-প্রশ্বাস চালু হলে কাঁশতে পারে এবং বমি করতে পারে। Our motherland is a land of rivers and canals. Peoples are died by drowning in water due to cessation of his/her breathing. Someone when drowned, water enter his/her lungs by mouth and nostril. We know that, one person can die about six minutes of his/her respiratory failure. In Bangladesh about 15 thousand of children are died due to drowning every year. And every day about 40 children are died by drowning in water. First aid- ‘Reach or throw – don’t GO’. • Then remove the patient safely from water and lay on the ground. • Clean the nose and mouth. Breathing and pulse should be examined. • If not breathing, try to artificial breathing by place mouth on his/her mouth. And it should be continued every five to six seconds intervals. • Even if the breathing is not started, start CPR. Press the chest in the rhythmic rhythm 30 times in a row and then breathe through mouth in two times and it should be continued in this cycle until normal breath is started. • After starting breathing patient may coughing and vomiting. • When the victim starts to vomiting, place him/her in lateral position, so that the inner water can came out. • Then remove all his/her wet clothes and covered with dry and warm clothes and should be sent to hospital. Because he/her may need to oxygen inhalation.
