We found unexpected beauty hiding in plain sight in Troy, Alabama! It's not the kind of place we usually explore. It’s bigger than the small towns we’re drawn to. But once we started walking its streets, it felt familiar in all the right ways. Old buildings, ghost signs, railroad tracks, quiet corners, and places that look like they’ve been waiting a long time to be noticed. Troy has that small-town soul, just spread across a larger map. Around every corner there was something else to see, another detail, another layer of history still standing. This video is a slow walk-through downtown Troy, Alabama, noticing what’s still here, what’s been left behind, and what gives this town its character.
