Roshanara - the Story of her Life & Death

Roshanara, the second youngest daughter of Mumtaz and Shahjahan lived quite a notorious life which has been startling people throughout the ages. Even 350 years after her death people just want to know exactly what kind of person she really was but not much is documented about her life if compared to any men folk of the mughals who were documented to the minutest of their habits. We have tried to shed some light on the her actual life and how she was, what she behaved like and where her loyalties were. She, although not so beautiful as her elder sister Jahanara, but was quite cunning and she knew how to exercise her mind to the fullest so as to gain power for the good or the bad but definitely come out herself as the ultimate benefactor. We filmed this documentary at her that is Roshanara's Tomb where she was finally put to rest in 1671 and have discussed how relevant her role was in the war of succession and how she secretly helped her beloved brother Aurangzeb to step to the throne.
