This Berlin walking tour begins at Friedrichstraße station on a cloudy June afternoon in 2026. After crossing the Spree River, we enjoy spectacular views of the Berlin TV Tower and the Berlin Cathedral before heading toward some of the city's most exciting neighborhoods. Along the route, we pass the famous Friedrichstadt-Palast—Berlin’s largest and most modern revue theater—and then explore the newly redeveloped Tacheles quarter. Once known as one of Berlin’s most famous artist-run squats following the fall of the Wall, the Tacheles has transformed into an architecturally and culturally impressive site while preserving elements of its historic character. We continue along the lively Oranienburger Straße, known for its cafés, restaurants, hidden courtyards, and dynamic atmosphere. With frequent glimpses of the Berlin TV Tower, the walk leads us into Monbijou Park—a green oasis in the heart of the city and one of the best spots to enjoy views of Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral. From Monbijouplatz, we return to Oranienburger Straße and head toward Hackescher Markt, one of the most popular destinations for visitors from around the world. The tour concludes near the Spree with a beautiful view of the Berlin Cathedral and Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
