CJ Roundhand Writing Demo
I was asked by several people to actually demonstrate writing with the CJ Roundhand style I featured in a previous video. It's a simple presentation to show the "hand" (what written styles are called) clearly and without editing distractions, enhanced only by various cuts of music. Since this is a FAQ, here's a list of the pens used in the video: Pilot Metropolitan M (silver zigzag), Noodler's Black ink. Pilot Prera (clear demonstator body) with an EF nib taken from a Pilot Penmanship, Rohrer & Klingner Scabiosa ink Pilot Metropolitan F (gold), Noodler's Brown ink. Paper: Rhodia #18 (A4) lined (7 mm) with margin Also: if you compare the grain on the board I'm writing on versus the edge of the paper, you can see I tilt the paper 55-60 degrees counterclockwise, which is somewhat exaggerated for a rightie. So, left-handers, don't worry if you have to tilt the paper to get the slant right (although it'll likely be clockwise). Do what works and is comfortable. 0:00 - Intro & Titles 0:45 - 2x Oversize minuscules 2:34 - 2x Oversize majuscules 3:44 - Emphasized minuscules 4:26 - Majuscules & numbers 5:33 - Pangrams 7:55 - Title case list 10:29 - Credits LINKS: Twitter: / _cjcs_ Facebook: / cjs.creative.studio Patreon: / cjcs Website: http://cjcs.com
