The weather was challenging: strong winds interfered with my casts and disrupted my line, but the roach hunt was worth it. Today, the "first casts" tactic worked perfectly. It's simple: find a school of fish near the shore, make 5-7 casts, and if there are no bites or the fish are wary, move on immediately. Actively searching for fresh schools yielded far more results than waiting in one spot.
