This Montréal-based collaboration uses playful improvisation as its starting point, resulting in music that is ornate and raw, intimate, and deeply connected. Composed during yearly week-long retreats in the snowy seclusion of rural Québec, this album represents a significant departure from the spontaneous creation of their debut.
