Alfonso XIII y la Segunda República ¿Qué sucedió en abril de 1931

The reign of Alfonso XIII of Spain ended on April 14, 1931, the date on which the President of the Revolutionary Council, Niceto Alcalá Zamora, proclaimed the Second Spanish Republic. Alfonso XIII went into exile in Rome, separated from Queen Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg and their children, including Ena, as she was affectionately known. He died in Rome in 1941 without ever setting foot on Spanish soil again, having abdicated beforehand in favor of his third son, Juan de Borbón. 🔻SUGGESTION🔻 You might be interested in these videos related to this story: ►Alfonso XII and Cánovas🔴 A Short and Difficult Reign    • Alfonso XII y Cánovas🔴 El reinado corto y ...   ►The Return of the Bourbons🔴 Alfonso XII and the Bourbon Restoration    • Alfonso XII y la RESTAURACION🔴 El REGRESO ...   ►The Glorious Revolution of 1868.
