In the book of Daniel chapters 1, 2, and 3, Scripture reveals how God did mighty and extraordinary things for Daniel, Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego. Yet, even after witnessing these works of God, King Nebuchadnezzar was not deterred from throwing Daniel into the lions’ den, nor his three friends into the fiery furnace. This same Scripture teaches and reminds us to remain steadfast in the Lord and not be shaken by circumstances. It assures us that even in the toughest and darkest moments, the Lord is always present with His people to deliver, to preserve, and to save them. Have you ever witnessed the glory of God?
