Abandoned Jamestown Mall | It's History & the Exploration

Jamestown Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in Florissant, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Opened in 1973, the mall formerly included Dillard's, JCPenney, Macy's, and Sears as its anchor stores. The mall had become increasingly vacant since the beginning of the 2000s. It closed in July 2014 and has been slated for redevelopment as an open-air center. Multiple recent fires, vandalism, scrapping have progressively made the mall's interior worst by the month. Talks are once again in motion to begin demolition maybe as soon as May of this year. In respect to one my first big explorations I decided to make a more proper video going over a little bit of the history and more commentary. This footage was taken back in February of 2021. Jamestown Is possibly a spot I might be able to make a revisit on my future trip west.
