I'm showing 7 methods for processing pine: burning, brushing, staining, oils, stains, and paint—how to achieve different textures from a single wood. This video shows how to process pine wood yourself. I'm trying to transform an ordinary pine board into a striking and "expensive"-looking surface. I'm testing: burning (heavy and moderate); vinegar stain (vinegar + steel wool) with and without pre-soaking; three colored wood stains; four shades of Borma Wachs primer oils; heavy brushing with wire brushes with three finish options; double-dyeing (white paint + black paint with quick-stripping). Experiment with pine boards to make them look more expensive and resemble valuable wood species or to create an aged wood effect. Finally, all samples were coated with Borma Wachs hard countertop oil.
