Wattle -A Fast Growing Plant

If you want a fast growing plant, you can't beat wattle. Don Burke shows the remarkable growth in one year of a wattle (Acacia longifolia) in his backyard and explains how wattles are perfect to plant in new gardens because they grow fast & die young (at around 10years). This means wattle give you fast foliage & flowers while the rest of your garden is establishing & growing. So by the time the rest of your garden has finally grown, you can take out the old wattle and either let the rest of your garden take over that space or plant more wattles. Win win!
