RWBY Reversed Fates: Fate Yet Woven (ft Calxiyn)

Original song from ‪@thejudgmentalcritter6584‬ RWBY fan series: Reversed Fates This song conceptualised was way back in December 2024. As diegetic music, after some discussion on what the context for the scene was, considering it needed to be something Malachite would listen to, we narrowed the genre of the to industrial or gothic metal. What tipped it over to the latter was that I had the idea since Cal was the one writing the lyrics, it would be fun to have her sing it as well. Composing the instrumental took some doing as I kept coming up with new ideas, the biggest of which being changing the drums from a typical pattern, to something what Jeff would write, and overhauling the intro from something that darker Mirror Mirror, to what it is here. Many more smaller changes were made, but those were spread out over so much time that I don't really remember them all. haha Time spent working on the track: ...Yes.
