Hughley has gained a lot of attention this year with his comments on politics and popular culture, including Caitlyn Jenner's transgender transformation and Donald Trump's comments on Charlottesville. He explained that he likes to be as clear as possible with his views, adding that he's just making an assessment.  During the conversation, D.L. spoke about white supremacists saying they built America, which Hughley said was untrue, as he stated that white people just handed out work assignments for things they didn't want to do.
