Another woods ride with the 1981 XL500S since getting it running.
In the short time that I owned this brute of a bike, I had a great time with it. Literally pulled from a local guy's barn, I picked it up in March of '22 with intentions of documenting the rehab progress on my channel here and ride it around in the summer and to take out to Mid Ohio for the AMA Vintage Days event. Everything worked out perfectly and had a blast riding it on the local trails around me and also on the hare scramble loop at Vintage Days ultimately selling it while out at the event to make room for more projects for this channel. This video is all riding videos that I accumulated in the few months I owned it. Fun bike! If you want to see the progress start to finish of the rehab process, be sure to check out the playlist here: • 1981 XL500S
