Senate President Akpabio Hosts APC National Chairman Ganduje in Uyo

The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Friday warmly received the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, along with members of the APC National Executive Council at his country home in UYO, the Akwa Ibom State Capital. The visit by the Party’s top hierarchy comes ahead of today’s grand reception ceremony in honour of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno. While welcoming the National Leaders of the Party, Senator Akpabio described Pastor Umo Eno’s defection as a significant moment of political engagement and goodwill in the state. He commended Governor Umo Eno for his ingenuity and thoughtfulness in taking the state to the centre, noting that the decision will bring positive development to Akwa Ibom. The President of the Senate also used the occasion to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the stability he has brought to the nation. The APC National Chairman, Dr. Ganduje, expressed appreciation for the warm reception, noting the importance of collaboration across party lines for the advancement of democracy and national development.
