At first glance, a banal matter that can develop into serious damage that completely disables the use of the excavator. A loose hydraulic motor can be easily recognized - a large clearance in the rotation of the excavator accompanied by the knocking of the pinion of the hydraulic motor wheel or the body of the hydraulic motor against the bed in the excavator. After removing the cover (depending on the excavator, this is usually the lower side cover of the excavator on the left side) and looking at the hydraulic motor, all you need to do is manually move the excavator arm and observe whether the hydraulic motor moves or not. If it moves, it will be necessary to tighten the four screws of the hydraulic motor. However, I recommend removing one and checking the length - if it is short, replace it with a longer one (strength min. 10.9). Then gradually remove all of them, apply high-strength glue and tighten. Simply tightening may not be enough, as the forces there are large and the screws will loosen over time, but loctite 270 will prevent this. Similarly, the mounting in the bed may be so loose that the hydraulic motor has nothing to lean on, it will shift and additional play will be created here. By lining the body of the hydraulic motor in the bed, you can easily and permanently prevent this - but everything must be glued with glue. Adding a safety relief valve to the hydraulic motor of the swing is perhaps the most basic service intervention ever. This will limit any damage to the hydraulic motor, from damage to the toothed pinion, the rack to the possibility of twisting the entire hydraulic motor shaft. The forces generated by the inertia of the tower and the load are enormous. The cross relief valve will prevent this and release the resulting pressure back into the hydraulic circuit. Its installation is easy and is located between the hydraulic distributor and the hydraulic motor. In addition to the valve, you need 2 hoses and direct couplings for connecting the hoses. Choose the valve size according to the max. oil flow in the circuit. This valve is part of the hydraulic motor of probably all excavators, but the manufacturer does not supply it here. This relief valve (sometimes referred to as a shock valve) is absolutely essential if you decide to make further adjustments to the excavator's hydraulics...which is directly offered here. Repairing the play of the pin in the boom-arm connection is a matter of excavator maintenance. It will appear in time on every excavator, only here it is a feature of the farmer version, given by the production possibilities at a given low price. The easiest way is to insert the bushings in the boom, in my opinion a better solution is to insert and also make a new pin. This turned out to be the ideal solution in the end and with the next pin it has been solved for a very long time. In addition, I also defined the clearances by inserting washers between the boom and the arm.... I will describe that in detail in another video. High-quality lighting of the excavator using 4 LED spotlights is the basis for working after dark. I chose 2 spotlights in the front and two with an integrated switch in the back. I usually only have one illuminated in the back, which is fully sufficient and I can still see more than well. Audible whistling is an unpleasant feature of these rear LED spotlights due to the electronics used. I have been choosing and comparing these lights for a long time and I think I have managed to find the ideal lighting for the excavator. They are not the smallest, but that is not the deciding factor here. The lights are mounted using 50 mm diameter pipe clamps. The electrical wiring is made of 2x1 mm PVC, protected by a 20A fuse and completely separately routed directly from the battery via a circuit breaker. This way I eliminated any interference from the engine and other electronics of the excavator. You can see how the lighting turned out in the video.
