REPLACING THE STERN TUBE - PART 1
We undertake some major surgery on the hull of Black Sheep. There had been a small leak coming from the stern. The inboard end of the original stern tube was thin walled stainless steel so I decided to get on and remove it. This required cutting a large hole in the side of the hull. As you'll see - the stainless steel really hadn't faired well over the years so I was glad I did.
