GOBARDANGA MRIDANGAM’S NEW THEATRE PRODUCTION FOR THE YEAR 2025-26 (Under Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojna, Guru Shishya Parampara) PLAY : NIL SWAPNO (BLUE DREAM) This story is about trying to recover Indian culture, which is being demolished by the first countries. The human being is so greedy because they could not happy any time and they always think that more things may be happy themselves. We always refuse our rituals especially Bengali to take others rituals. In this play depicted a middle-class family especially in Bengals whose elder son lives in Broad. He married a foreigner and wrote a letter to his sister and request her to manage his mother because his mother may be shocked after hearing this massage. Now the main point is who give this information to their mother. A young sister and little brother to force their father to covey this information to their mother but father scared. When everybody scared, mother entry and forced to know to about their scary. After hearing the message, the mother is very happy because she wanted this type of coincidence. Mother always wanted her elder son will marry a foreigner lady because foreigner bride always speaks in English and that’s why their family will reach in the upper class in society. Mother thinks that the Bengali language is backdated now time for English. In the last scene, a real foreigner bride comes into the house and speak in Bengali because she born and brought up in the USA but study in Biswa Bharati in West Bengal. Mother knowing everything, she faints and everybody tries to shift her to hospital.
