Crise bio et backlash écologique : quelle future PAC ?
Will the future CAP mark a setback or a rebound for agroecology? Discussions have just begun in Brussels, and I'm taking two participating MEPs to a farm in Hauts-de-France, in the Aisne department: Pascal Canfin (Renew) and Majdouline Sbaï (Greens). In Blanzy-les-Fismes, Margot and Aymeric have taken over the family farm, converted 170 hectares to organic farming, replanted 4 kilometers of hedgerows, and restarted livestock farming. But they're struggling to find their market, lacking visibility and support. The organic crisis is compounded by the ecological backlash and the difficulties associated with setting up. In this new video format, I take elected officials to farms to meet farmers who are innovating for the ecological transition. As a science journalist accustomed to reporting on environmental and agricultural issues, I want to understand the politics surrounding these issues. How can we really make a difference? As with all my stories, I simply want to explain the facts to you. It's then up to you to make your own decisions. I've chosen to be less divisive and leave time for debate.
