Presented by Musikexpress 🥁 Steintor Herrenchor – That’s Mirko, Timon, and Milan from Hanover, Germany, who actually once made hip hop and dub techno together. One fateful heartbreak later, the template for the song “Postkarten” was born, and the musicians suddenly found themselves on the stages of various festivals as part of the new New German Wave. For Collide, the group staged their songs “wohin” and “manchmal” and covered the song “Ich will nicht älter werden” by Bärchen und die Milchbubis which brings us back to the 80s. Concentrated pop-punk power from 80s Hanover meets a new generation. The spectacle is stylishly complemented by the visual art of Alexander Trattler and Elastique. The visuals reinforce the musical messages – from the intimacy of human touch and the beauty of simplicity to AI-altered portraits.
