Sandro Compagnon - Saxophonist

Saxophonist Sandro Compagnon is talking about how he was inspired by his father to play the soprano saxophone and his love for both classical and Jazz music. Sandro is currently busy doing a recording, playing the music of French composer Bruno Mantovani. He explains that the sound of the soprano Saxophone is almost like a mix of the sounds of an oboe, clarinet and flute. It is good for doing transcriptions and also original repertoire. Sandro's wish is to do as many concerts as possible and also to work in different countries as a freelance musician.
