COOL Auto-Start Hitachi Single-File Escalators - Hosuisusukino Station - Sapporo, Japan

Here's are 3 cool Hitachi single-file escalators in this train station, which is part of the Sapporo Municipal Subway system. These all have a power-saving mode where the escalator completely stops when not in use. When you walk up to it and pass through sensors, they start moving. They don't slowly start either...they just go!
