2026-05-29: Kayaking French Broad River, Section 9, 4200 cfs

With a few exceptions (notably Pinball), FB9 feels a lot more like a medium-large Class II+ than a Class III at this level. There are some places you don't want to be, but the lines are wider and straighter than at lower levels. This was the first time in almost a year that anyone had seen this much water in the French Broad.
