Why locking a BMS is not a good solution. The good, bad and dangerous with the QSO BMS.

How are the settings look like in the #QSO #BMS by default? This is very important as we cannot change these parameters. QSO has locked them down because customers previously changed some settings which lead to a damage of the battery and warranty claims against QSO. Understandable from the sellers perspective to lock down the BMS and protect themselves from such claims. But what can we expect from these parameters and are they any good at all?
