Roland R-8 versus R-70 | A Drum Machine Comparison
Just a little comparison of four same drum sounds (Mondo Kick, Solid Kick, Fat Snare, Tight Snare) included on both the Roland R-8 and the R-70 Drum Machine. This is not in depth comparison, I might do a more complete one in the future, I did however match the sound parameters of my R-70 to the sounds of my R-8. They still extremely very different. Roland R-8 came out in 1989 and is the first and original of the Human Rhythm Composer by Roland. The R-70 came out in 1992 (the end of drum machine era) and shares similarities to the Boss DR-660. #drummachine #vintage
