Oude Enschedese tram (uit 1908) teruggebracht naar Twente

There's been much discussion about it, but now Enschede's old tram is truly back in Twente. A century ago, it ran between Enschede and Glanerbrug; tram TET1 is a testament to the golden age of textiles. Later, the only remaining carriage served as a garden shed. Today, the tram was transported from Overloon – where the carriage has been restored – to the Buurtspoorweg Museum in Haaksbergen. There, it will be further restored. The goal is to present the tram as a gift to Enschede, which will then celebrate its 700th anniversary, in 2025.
