Balangut the big Canoe was launched at Riwo in Madang with the observance of 46th Independence

Balangut was launched at Riwo Village in Madang Province on 46th Independence day of Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬. It is the big canoe which was used by their ancestors for trade along the coastline in the past. They built it to preserve their cultural heritage. Cultural fish dance was also performed celebrating the launching of their big canoe.
