2 Day in the Mountains - Running to Chamonix
Following the original Peak Divide route in the UK, we took on the Genepi Divide — a 2-day supported trail running adventure through the French Alps, finishing in Chamonix. Teamed up with Altra Running for this one, testing their shoes across some brutal alpine terrain, big vert, and everything a proper mountain traverse throws at you. If you're into trail running, ultra running, or just love watching people suffer beautifully in the mountains — this one's for you. Follow along for the full journey. 📍 Route: Genepi Divide (inspired by the UK's Peak Divide) 👟 Shoes: Altra Running ⛰️ Terrain: 2 days, French Alps to Chamonix WHO AM I: I'm Lydia — ultra runner and content creator documenting real trail running and mountain adventures across Europe. Past projects include an FKT on the Camino Português and a 650KM self-supported run across Portugal.
