That one worry, familiar to millions of people today, simply didn't exist back then. Today we're talking about ten types of sausage that weren't just food. They were iconic. The Thuringian sausage with its six hundred years of history. The Halberstadt sausage, which gave the whole world canned sausage. The Eberswalde sausage, which once fed half of Berlin and was liquidated in the winter of 2026 by the Tönnies subsidiary Zur-Mühlen Group—five hundred jobs sacrificed on the altar of billionaire profits.
