In Two Steps: Music Therapy Research for Chronic Pain
A new research study supported by the National Endowment for the Arts' Creative Forces initiative is exploring how working with a music therapist can help veterans manage chronic pain and related challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, and post-traumatic stress disorder. In this video, veterans at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans’ Administration Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, share their experiences with music listening and how it has helped them manage chronic pain.
