I invite you to watch the first video of this winter season, which started off quite well... Paving the route after a fresh snowfall that fell on top of the previous, unbound layer, lack of visibility for most of the route, occasional snowfall and strong gusts of wind, and more challenging terrain in the summit dome – all of this made climbing the Western Peak of the Iron Gate (2,360m above sea level) on the Kaczy Mur ridge quite challenging, but also very rewarding! :) I visited the peak for the second time, and unfortunately, the second time I wasn't lucky with the views – at least not from the summit – because during the descent, the clouds briefly moved lower, revealing the surrounding, beautifully snow-covered ridges...
