Driving in Croatia: Autocesta A9 E751 & R5042 from Plovanija to Poreč

In this video you can ride along on Autocesta A9 E751 & country road 5042 from Plovanija to Poreč on Croatia's Istria peninsula. The A9 is perhaps one of the most 'seasonal' highways out there, carrying most traffic throughout the summer (touristic) season. This video is from early fall and you can see there is barely anyone on the road. The A9 is tolled throughout and connects Plovanija at the border with Slovenia to Pula in the South of Istria. One of the most notable sections is the Mirna most (Mirna Bridge), a 1,370 meters long bridge crossing the Mirna river valley. There are plans to upgrade the bridge to a 2 x 2 standard in the future along with the Limska Draga bridge further South on the A9. Interesting is after crossing the bridge, the lane configuration immediately jumps to 3 for the uphill section.
