Iryna Shumeiko: Ukrainische Malerin im Exil – Kunst-Portrait aus Lohr am Main

This video presents a portrait of the Ukrainian artist Iryna (Ira) Shumeiko, who lived and worked temporarily in Lohr am Main (Bavaria, Germany) in 2023. The Ukrainian painter found temporary refuge in Germany during the war in her homeland. Whilst her husband was involved in defending his country in eastern Ukraine, she was able to continue working on her art in Lohr am Main. The town provided her with a studio and supported a special art project: A piano painted for public display, which stood in two locations in the town during the summer and could be played by all visitors. In the video, Iryna talks about her inspiration, her art and her life as a Ukrainian artist during the war. Some of her works are also featured. 📌 Note: In 2024, Iryna Shumeiko returned to Ukraine. 🎨 More works by the artist: https://art2080.com/en/seller/64-iryn... 📰 Article about the artist (Main Echo): https://www.main-echo.de/region/kreis... 🎵 Music: Shenma Survilma (trad.; Prod: G.
