[email protected] Video filmed by Nolan Callecod at Monk's Jazz in Austin, Texas "Swanee River Boogie" is based on the song "Swanee River", and American tune by Stephen Foster. It was made into a boogie in the 1940s by the great Albert Ammons. Fats Domino, Ray Charles and Dr John have all made great renditions of this. It was also featured on the "Fats and Friends" concert in New Orleans, where Fats was accompanied on 2 other pianos by Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis. There's also a GREAT live version by Pete Johnson.
