Conair Air Tractor AT-802 Fire Bosses Landing & Taking Off at YYJ

A thunderstorm rolled over southern Vancouver Island last Sunday, sparking several wildfires. A few helicopters were immediately put to action Monday morning, battling a blaze a few hectares in size near the Sooke reservoir. Later on, Conair responded by sending their Electra and after that they sent their amphibious Air Tractors. Due to the convenience of YYJ being located relatively close to the fire, they were making quick fuel stops before getting back to the fire.
