Why Are There 96,000,000 Red Gem Stones on This Beach!

I searched this river beach full of gemstones looking for the perfect gem quality garnet. What I found was mind blowing. Millions upon millions of red garnets. Most were very small, but many were big enough to collect. After hours of gem hunting we came home with a bucket full of garnets most small but some nice ones included in the mix. The goal of this prospecting was hopefully to find a big enough gemmy garnet to facet. Check out the video to see what we found. What a rock hound / gem hunter parricide this was.
