the project I didn't know I needed. 80's Schwinn Prelude part 1:

I. this episode we check out the new bike. a whatever Schwinn Prelude I found at Goodwill. I definitely wasn't going to buy it... but then... and then it has... ohh and it also has... and I can totally sell this part and that part for more than it costs so it's basically a free bike... and so on and so forth! it's all basically bike math: n+1. where N represents how many bikes you have and 1 represents how many more bikes you can buy. I also add to this my "value justification" theory where I'd the extra parts you aren't planning on using can be sold for more than the cost of the bike, you're basically losing money if you don't buy it, so therefore we're back to N+1. pro tip we're always going to end up back at N+1. also we actually just tear this bike down to check it out, but also mostly so I can list the parts on eBay. also I already did that while editing the video and have sold the brake levers and pedals for more than cost of the bike this proving both bike math theories correct 💯
