Adventure Awaits: Day 3 to Belmont-Red Bay + 3 Days of Intense Repairs

It's our final travel day to Belmont, MS and Red Bay, AL, and guess what? It's pouring rain! We've hit the remnants of Hurricane Francine, now just a tropical depression, but it's still dumping buckets on us. With only a 2-hour journey ahead, we power through! Mike's at the wheel of the motorhome while I'm in the truck since we lost the brake cable to the hitch setup, and we're not about to 'MacGyver' a temporary fix. The rain finally lets up as we roll into Belmont Campground and Storage, where we'll be setting up camp for 4 nights! Our first stop is 'Davidson RV' for some crucial repairs on our slide seals, fixing the front cabinets that took a tumble 3 years ago, tackling a mysterious leak lurking between the fridge & bunk bed slide, and dealing with the bolts on the rear slide that just won't stay put. The biggest challenge? Our cranky furbabies! Then, we're off to 'Pro Finishes' to tackle a pesky 'chip' that's gone rogue and keeps expanding, no matter how much I sand it down (my ultimate pet peeve for 3 long years!).
