Crabbing Tillamook Bay! Lost a Pot, nice Crabs & Custom Weld Jetty Action (Part 2)

🎣 Part 2 of our Oregon Coast birthday adventure! We launch the Custom Weld at Garibaldi Marina and head out for an exciting day of crabbing in Tillamook Bay. Watch as we navigate the busy marina, dodge a big commercial boat backing up, and take the Custom Weld out to the jetty for the first time. We pull crab pots, show how to drive upwind, safely deploy traps without wrapping the prop, and demo the Scotty Trap-Ease crab puller. We lost one pot that got stuck, but still managed to pull 2 nice big crabs! I show how to identify males vs females, how to measure them, and how I keep them fresh in an ice-filled bait bag.
