Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun a six-day visit to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand aimed at strengthening India's strategic presence in the Indo-Pacific. The tour focuses on defence, trade, technology, digital connectivity and economic cooperation. Indonesia is expected to feature talks on the BrahMos missile, UPI-QRIS digital payments and AI collaboration. Modi will also meet leaders in Australia and New Zealand to expand defence, trade and people-to-people ties.
