Fort Pickens is a historic pentagonal United States military fort on Santa Rosa Island in the Pensacola, Florida, area. It is named after American Revolutionary War hero Andrew Pickens. It is the largest of four forts built to defend Pensacola Bay and its navy yard. Join us as we explore the campground loop A, where we are staying and loops E and B. We also explore the site of of Battery Worth, a former defense mortar battery from 1899 and the Florida National Scenic Trail and a hidden beach at Pensacola Bay.
