Elvis Presley - Please Don't Stop Loving Me - From First Take to the Master

Within the soundtrack album which resulted from Elvis’ 1966 movie “Frankie and Johnny” there are two tracks which stick out more than any other. In no particular order, these are the record version of the title track and the ballad “Please Don’t Stop Loving Me”. The former was recorded by Elvis on 13 May 1965 at Radio Recorders’ studio B in Hollywood and was the fourth song recorded at that days session. However, it was the first of the day to be recorded with both Elvis and the band present as the previous three songs recorded only saw Elvis add his vocal to a previously recorded backing track. As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the re-edited audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
